Hayworth Statement on the 11th Anniversary of the September 11th Attacks
Fishkill, NY - Congresswoman Nan Hayworth, M.D. (NY-19) released the following statement in remembrance of the victims of the attacks on September 11, 2001:
"11 years ago this morning, any illusions we may have had about our nation being safe from foreign terrorist acts on our own soil were shattered. Our Hudson Valley lost residents who were simply doing their daily work at the World Trade Center, and many more who were doing the work they were called to do as first responders, giving their lives in order to save the lives of others. The attacks on New York, on the Pentagon, and on the jet that went down in Shanksville, Pennsylvania killed nearly 3,000 people, and in the years since that day of shock and devastation 6,570 American fighting men and women have died in the wars our country has fought to prevent another 9/11. This past summer I attended the funerals of two of our finest young Army Majors, both alumni of West Point, who had lost their lives defending freedom in Afghanistan.

dear congresswoman, please do what you can to stop all aid to middle east countries responsible for the rioting and killing of americans, and bring our diplomats and troops home asap. I'm 70 years old and I'm sick and tired of our govt. destroying this once great country.also, visas and all other programs should be stopped for muslims coming into this country and those in this country who are not citizens of the USA should be deported. each day christians and jews are being killed prejudiced around the world and nothing is being done, it's time now for the USA to fight back by stop giving all kinds of aid and american lives.
