LoHud: Log Cabin Republicans Endorse Hayworth
Reps. Nan Hayworth of Bedford and Richard Hanna of Oneida County have received the endorsement of the Log Cabin Republicans.
“These fellow conservatives appreciate that all Americans seek to enjoy the same freedoms and inalienable rights, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.’’ the group said in a press statement. “Log Cabin Republicans chapters and members throughout the United States will commit their resources to get these candidates elected to Congress this November.’‘
Reps. Nan Hayworth of Bedford and Richard Hanna of Oneida County have received the endorsement of the Log Cabin Republicans.
The pro gay rights organization also endorsed Hayworth and Hanna in 2010.
Among the challengers receiving the group’s endorsement is Joe Carvin of Rye, who is running against veteran Democratic Rep. Nita Lowey of Harrison.
Outside of New York, the group is endorsing Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown, among others.
